1-26-2013  Congratulations to Tracy Brown #54773. Tracy received a Nat'l RETURN THE FAVOR AWARD for all her help and efforts she put forth helping the Indiana State Jaycees. Please be sure to congratulate her when you see her next as this award is truly an honor. Also Congratulations goes to Mark Niedenthal #39701 from IL, Mark was winner of our Region V Spring Fling Raffle drawing. The drawing was held Saturday January 21, 2013 at the Nat'l Meeting in Atlanta, GA.

10-26-11 Congratulations to Senators Bob Dalton #64587 and Sherri Horton #58791 on the birth of their new grandchild. Their son Matt and his wife Whitney had a baby boy on 10/25/11 at 3:35 am. and named him Eli Patrick Dalton. 8 lbs 1 oz and 21" long.
10-20-11 It is with much sadness that I deliver the news regarding Past OHJCI President/Current Foundation Secretary & Trustee, and dear friend Patty Robinson. Patty passed away this morning at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, OH details will follow soon. Please keep her son John and the rest of her family in your thoughts and prayers. Patty and her forever smiles will be sadly missed by me and I know several others as she had many many friends and family whom loved her dearly.
10-20-11 INJCI Senators please keep President Michael Shoback's #45316 wife Lynn in your thoughts and prayers and prayer for a full recovery soon as she is now on day 16 in the hospital. Lynn has undergone gall bladder surgery and is fighting serious infection that has set in please see update note from President Michael: Lynn is now on regular foods however she developed stomach pains and nausea and was vomiting this afternoon. Her surgeon was actually expecting this and believes that it is remnants of a gall stone that remained in a portion of her gallbladder, that was left over from a previous surgery. She was placed on meds to control the vomiting and to control any infection in her gall bladder area. Just when she thought that she was ready to come home, more problems surface. We are expecting her to return home by Thursday at the latest as long as no other issues develop. Get well wishes maybe sent to Lynn at: 3375 W Lake Shore Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307.

9-16-11 Congratulations go out to Senators Barry Geswein #47417 and Angela Orwick #66214 on the birth of a son Syler(?) Christian Geswein. He was very anxious to come into the world as he arrived 6 weeks early and is 4lbs 4oz, 17 3/4 inches. Baby and proud parents are doing well.

Congrats also to all the ILJCI Senators for putting on such a fantastic Nat'l Board Meeting in Lisle, IL I'm sure I speak for all when I say you did Region V proud!

David has been working hard to get roster cleaned up but some Senators we are unable to locate and therefore we have lost contact with them, so we are asking for your help in this task as well.
